History
The American Silver Eagle bullion coin program has been an unqualified success. Collectors and Investors love to collect these coins. The variety of coins, grades, finishes and designations by the major grading services have made this series extremely popular.
The coins use the Walking Liberty Half Dollar design that was used for those coins between 1916 and 1947. That specific design was wonderfully popular.
Design
The reverse of the American Silver Eagle bullion coins features the Heraldic Eagle design that was crafted by John Mercanti, a Chief Engraver of the United States Mint.
The coin has been graded as PROOF-70 any designation by the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) which is one of the major independent, third-party, grading services. Its grading is respected and accepted by dealers and collectors worldwide.
It was graded as Proof-70 DCAM, which is an abbreviation for Deep Cameo. This is the highest designation that the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) awards to a Proof Silver Eagle coin.
This is a beautiful coin that would enhance your collection or for investment.
