In her beak is a banner on which is inscribed, “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” There are 13 stars above the eagle. Around the periphery are the mottoes, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and “1 OZ. FINE SILVER – ONE DOLLAR.” This coin is graded as ‘MS69,’ by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). NGC is one of the major, independent, third-party grading services.
