Above the eagle are 13 five-pointed stars, and the mottoes, ”UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and “1 OZ. FINE SILVER – ONE DOLLAR,” cover the peripheriesThis coin has been graded as “Proof 70, Ultra Cameo,” by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). NGC is one of the most respected and important third-party, independent grading services. NGC authenticates, grades, and encapsulates coins. NGC has graded this particular coin as perfect by using the “Proof 70” grade. NGC also designated this coin as “Ultra Cameo,” which indicates that this coin has mirrored surfaces and frosted devices.
